There's something about WoW…

March 31, 2008

That is absolutely addictive and entrancing that just keeps me coming back. Along with EQ2, it is the only game that I have never let my subscription lapse since November of 2004. Even though I’ve gone months without logging in, it’s always there waiting for in case I need my ‘fix’.
And, that [...]

IMGDC Day #1

March 29, 2008

Alas, the day has come to an end, and I am exhaustedly (is that a made up adverb?) crashing into bed after a day well spent.
Today was the first day of Indie MMO Game Dev Conference 2.0, graciously organized by Jonathon Stevens of Last Straw Games. It was a really really good day. [...]

Free Realms at MMOGNation

March 25, 2008

A friend of mine, Michael at MMOGNation wrote a good walkthrough of the demo of Free Realms he was shown at the last SOE community summit.
It’s definitely worth a read if you’re interested in the game, which I certainly am.

Somethings are just made for me….

March 25, 2008

So we’re walking through Blockbuster…and I see this:

There aren’t many games this year that I am looking forward to more than Fable 2. Since they’re now in crunch and it’s a funny idea, Lionhead have put up a live webcam feed of their various teams working on the game.
In case you feel like being a creepy stalker, check it out.

Rock Band to release in-game music store

March 20, 2008

Rock Band. Ah, a weakness of mine.
According to the following press release, over 6 million songs have been downloaded for Rock Band (go microtransactions!) and they are now putting in an actual music store within the game. So now, rather than exiting out to the XBL dashboard, you’ll be able to browse songs, [...]

Back to blogging, I swear!

March 20, 2008

I’ve been *really* bad lately with blogging. I’m going to make a conscious effort to go back to as close to daily posting as I can get very soon. I’m going to keep it a mixture of gaming, web, music, television, movies, and RL – because that’s what’s on my mind for the [...]

Metachat LIVE on MySpace!

March 13, 2008

Hey everyone!
So this is one reason why I’ve been so busy lately (and a major blogslacker). We’ve just released Metachat, which is a chat application for MySpace. This is just a tiny smidgen of the possibilities that Metaplace has – but it’s not JUST a chat app. We have things like minor [...]
