This morning, I was wearing my favorite hoodie to Starbucks for my daily chai tea latte. It’s a World of Warcraft hoodie, and it seems to attract conversation every time I wear it. Today, my barista said “WORLD OF WARCRAFT?!!? I just started playing that!!!”. I told him that he should join my guild on Proudmoore, because we’re an awesome LGBT guild that would love to have him.
He got all excited because he’s a noob and doesn’t have friends who play, and then a guy in the line behind me said he plays WoW too and wanted to play with the gay guild as well. So both guys wrote down the guild website and server name and are going to check it out. It’s funny how conversations about WoW occur everywhere I go. Also, funny enough, I think it’s interesting how many new people are still playing WoW. Both of these guys said they weren’t really gamers but they liked World of Warcraft.
In other news, I did the beginning of 10-man Ulduar for the first time over the weekend. I thought that was pretty neat, the fights were interesting and I got a few achievements. I’m also still plugging away on the Loremaster achievement, but I have almost 300 quests left to do in Kalimdor. It’s going to be a loooong road.

I tried doing Loremaster for a bit –but I have 3 quests in Outlands that I can’t find for the life of me, so that’s been put on hold for awhile…
