Apparently, Jim Lee, Chris Metzen and Mickey Nielson have a time slot blocked off for them at Comic Con this year. I don’t know much about comics, but I read that Jim Lee worked on the X-Men comics. Chris Metzen is the VP of Creative Development for Blizzard and also wrote the Warcraft book “Of Blood and Honor.”

Anyone know how the WoW Trading Card Game has been faring? I bought the starter deck and a couple additional packs – but having very little experience with Magic or any of the other TCGs, I lost interest pretty quickly before even building a deck. How popular is the WoW TCG?

I’ll teach you how to play Magic instead. From what I understand the WoW game does pretty well – but MtG is mandatory so you can stamp the CCG corner of your Geek Card.
Ok, Jim Lee did not just work on the X-Men, he is the King of the X-MEN.
Sorry, my geek came out and roared today.
Interesting. I’m not a wow fan, but the do a lot of cool things. I am looking forward to the movie.
I think that it could add nicely to the lore of WoW. I have always felt that the WoW storyline is kind of week. This could improve it nicely.
I would absolutely check out a WoW comic! Even though I’m not currently playing the game, I’ve read all of the novels that they have released, and enjoyed them quite a bit. The lore Blizzard has put together for the Warcraft universe is very well done. I bought the first manga, but it didn’t really do it for me, but I think a comic book style could really work.
