It’s an exciting week for the massively multiplayer scene.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, is the launch of Rise of Kunark. Am I going to play – sure, I’ll patch it up and give a Sarnak a try. I played RoK VERY minimally in beta and I was impressed with the look and feel of the beginning of Timorous Deep. Unfortunately my stints with EQ2 are halted rather quickly due to hardware constraints and lack of time to play, but I figure it’s worth a shot. Also dropping tomorrow is Patch 2.3 in WoW. Probably the best changes that could happen to a player like me. Decreased leveling time, increased quest XP, new quests in Dustwallow Marsh, and old world dungeon bosses will be dropping better items. I’m currently playing my level 40 druid casually, so the faster leveling and better rewards will be helpful. I don’t have much time to spend gaming nowadays, but at least I know that I’ll accomplish something and have fun in the short time that I have to play. =)
