Conglomerblog

Category: Gaming, RLCuppycake @ 3:15 pm

I’m getting shit for not blogging enough. Frankly, I feel like I have nothing of interest to say….but I guess I’ll try to spew out some boring mindless drivel for the sake of the 1200 visitors who come here every day even when I don’t blog. (That still baffles me, btw.)

First of all, for the gaming news – I’ve been playing a bit of WoW and that’s basically it. Haven’t logged into EQ2 in a couple months with the exception of running through Frostfell. I have the raddest boyfriend in the entire world and we’ve decided to start a family in WoW. Primary is my adorable blood elf hunter with a lynx pet named Secondary. Tertiary is his studly blood elf rogue with great hair and awesome pectoral muscles. We took our first family photo:

Awww, so precious.

  • In alternative news, this first paragraph of this news article brutally forced me into spitting soda all over my desk yesterday:

(AP Wire) Fort De Soto Park, FLORIDA — New information has been released regarding the sperm whale that came into the mouth of Tampa Bay over the weekend.

  • It’s supposed to rain here tomorrow. Yes, that’ s a big deal. In fact – you can get free sandbags from the state, but you have to fill them yourselves. I imagine that won’t be difficult with all the desert, but I still found that remotely hysterical. People’s reaction to the chance of rain is just too funny. On second thought, apparently this storm is worse than I thought so maybe I shouldn’t mock it.
  • Check out the January 2008 issue of PC Gamer to see Metaplace featured for the first time in print. They only misspelled “Metaplace” and called us “Metascape” three times.

  • My BFF Amanda has a new blog. She’s adorably awesome.
  • Last.FM is addicting. Add me as your friend if you use it.
  • New Year’s Eve is fun times.
  • I’ll be in Minnesota March 29-30 for IMGDC. Minnesotans BEWARE.

That’s pretty much all I have for randomness for now. If I don’t float away in the floods, I’ll have more next week.
