This is my domain name. And while it is expected that the comments made here do not necessarily reflect my opinions, and that what I say does not reflect my employer – the content on my site does reflect ME. I want to consciously be able to make the decision about what people see and experience when they come to this website.
Many sites are reporting that Protect Marriage, a website supporting California’s Proposition 8 are now serving ads via Google to CA residents. Regardless what I feel about Prop 8, if I were to be using Google Adsense I would be forced to look at those ads and my readers would view them too. That is disgusting. I am glad that my awesome friends and I did our part and went to a beautiful candlelight vigil in Hillcrest on Saturday night.
If you are affected by this ads, this site has steps on how you can block that domain and remove those ads from your website. I can not attest to the validity of these steps, but it’s worth a try.
Please, Californians. I’m not trying to persuade you to vote NO – but if you agree with the idea of everyone being allowed to marry – GET OUT AND VOTE. We are *barely* winning in the polls, and it’s going to take every one of you to help the cause.
