This weekend was packed with outdoor activity since the weather was beautiful in San Diego – but I did manage to get a little bit of time in Everquest II. My little Warden, Decembria, is now level 15 and working her way through the Darklight Woods quests. I’m having fun with her, and I do like healing — but I definitely miss being the DPS powerhouse and having the soloability that my necro had.
I logged into my 27 Arasai Necro on the same server (AB) and once I organized her bags, sold some things, and rearranged the hotbars – I realized that I really like that character. I think I might switch back to her – but I’m not sure yet. I do like being a healer and being a Warden is fun – but the Necromancer is a blast as well and she has a 3 bedroom house. I also want to try an Illusionist. Gah! Everquest 2, I’ve missed you.

Oh great. Now I’m going to want to play EQ2 again. *sigh*
Although it would seem fitting as I did the same thing with the LotRO trial as you – barely used it and later found it was up!
The Warden is a great class though. I had one when I use to play EQ2 and it was my most favorite class I had fiddled with too far. That, however, isn’t saying much, since I tend to limit myself on alts pretty heavily. Found it more fun than the Swashbuckler, but… Healing = Fun.
Personally, I loved my necro in EQ2- it reminds me a lot of the druid from EQ1 in it's multifunction-ness =p. I could group or solo, dps or utility, pinch heal and rez. I miss playing EQ2, I had great friends there, but I just don't have that kind of free time anymore.
