Second Pride is an annual LGBT pride festival held in Second Life each year. There are all sorts of activities including live performances, art shows, causes, amusement parks, and other events. It starts on May 23 and goes through May 30th, so stop in and take a peek! I plan to check it out 
The headquarters is on a sim called Dombersnark, and the event will be held over 6 sims: Ruthenium, Rhodium, Osmium, Iridium, Platinum and Palladium.
