For those who read WoW.com (the former WoWInsider) you might have read an article* about the LGBT Pride event being held by the guild “Taint”. This is an annual pride event held each year by the largest LGBT guild in World of Warcraft, on Proudmoore which is the unofficial server for LGBT folks and their allies. I’ve started a Death Knight on the server with the intent of participating in the event which occurs THIS Saturday. If I were to get back into WoW and play, I’m pretty sure it would be on this server. I love the inclusive and fun nature of these folks.
The parade starts at Camp Taurajo at 12:00 noon server time on Proudmoore THIS Saturday. There are plenty of events and fun things to do during this event. I would recommend checking it out. The full details are here on the guild website. A little about the guild – they actually are TEN guilds. World of Warcraft only allows a maximum of 500 people per guild, and this guild has completely trumped that. They have guilds spread all across the level and playstyle scale, including “Tainter Tots” for lowbies, and “Taint Invaders” for the raiding level 80s.
Hope some of you end up making it to the event

Hi Tami!
Thanks for the shout out and I'm happy you are joining us. Look for Krimon on the morning of Pride for an invite to our temporary guest guild <Taint for Today>, if you like. Also, if you visit taint.rtgc.org and click on the Rough Trade Radio link in the upper left hand corner, you can enjoy some pride camp classic tunes starting Pride morning (a teaser is up until then).
Thanks again, and hope you have an awesome Proudmoore Pride!
