Joystiq's honorable move on EA's Sin to Win contest

by Cuppycake on September 22, 2009

I’m sure the #EAFail fiasco is still fresh in everyone’s mind.  This was the promotion ran by EA at San Diego Comic Con that encouraged men to take pictures of themselves doing “lude acts” with booth babes.  Well, Joystiq is doing something honorable.

They were send a $200 check by EA as part of a marketing scheme for their Dante’s Inferno game.  Instead of keeping it, they cashed it and donated it to a charity for women’s leadership.  That is freaking badass.
